Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club, we have an exciting opportunity to be a part of our Hospitality team as a Conference & Events Sales Executive.
The main purpose of this role is to achieve and exceed sales targets through the active selling of the Venue and the C&E portfolio, WBA Events, and any club special events with account management responsibilities. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing incoming enquiries, providing insights into successes and reasons for lost business, and converting initial leads into bookings. Additionally, the Sales Executive will support the C&E Sales Manager in growing the expanding WBA Events programme, including initiatives like the Play on the Pitch programme, Stadium Tours, Christmas Parties, WBA Golf Day, and Junior Baggies Events. Building new client relationships and developing existing ones to maximize the club's commercial opportunities is also key.
