Site Manager

* Salary: £31,537 - £33,699 per annum
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, weekdays 6.30am-9.30am and 1.30pm - 6pm daily (totalling 7.5 hours per day), 52 weeks per year
* Contract: Permanent, required to start mid-August 2026 (negotiable)

The Beeches, a vibrant, inclusive primary school, seeks a friendly and hardworking Site Manager to build strong relationships with stakeholders, greet families with a smile, and maintain the highest standards of school premises. Experience in a school environment is highly desirable.
Key tasks include:
* Undertaking site security and fire alarms, including locking and unlocking premises
* Taking a proactive role in identifying and implementing improvements to site security
* Supervising the work of contractors on site: general porterage, furniture, equipment, and room set up
* Understanding Health and Safety within the school environment or willing to learn
* Liaising with school management on the planning of future projects and budgets
* Communicating with external contractors regarding maintenance work and projects
* Site cleaning and working alongside the cleaning team
* General site maintenance
* Monitoring planned maintenance, site maintenance, weekly checks, and repairs through the online system – IAm Compliant
* Management of grounds maintenance
* Working alongside the Trust Estate Managers, school Business Manager, and Headteachers to ensure high standards and best value are met
* Availability to answer emergencies outside regular hours and pre-planned lettings
* Ensuring lettings of the school comply with the Trust Lettings Policy and logging any breaches

* Good communication skills, ability to work effectively with others in school, and to work without direct supervision (essential)
