Rate: $100 per episode (weekly, ongoing). This is a recurring project with long-term potential.

Darwin and Cat: Pop Culture Garbage Barge is a fast-paced, smart, nostalgia-soaked comedy podcast.
We're a small but mighty (and growing) show with:
• A loyal, engaged audience
• Strong listener retention
• 2025 Spotify recognitions (Marathon Show, Most Shared Show, etc.)
• A clearly defined voice and comedic rhythm
We create "theater of the mind."
We use sound design, clips, music, and pacing to build scenes and land punchlines.
This is not just trimming ums and exporting an MP3.

What You'll Do Each Week
• Edit a ~30-minute episode (tightening pacing and flow)
• Insert clips and sound effects for comedic impact
• Add intro and outro
• Mix and master for polished, broadcast-quality sound
• Pull 1–3 short vertical highlight reels (audiogram or simple video format)
Expected turnaround: 48–72 hours after receiving raw audio.
You're a Great Fit If You:
• Have strong comedic timing
• Understand rhythm, pauses & punchlines
• Have edited comedy or narrative podcasts
• Communicate clearly and proactively
• Can commit to a consistent weekly schedule
• Use professional editing software (Audition, Pro Tools, Premiere, etc.)
Communication Matters. We're a weekly show. Reliability is essential.
If something comes up, we just need a quick heads-up. We value transparency and steadiness.
