A fantastic opportunity to join a growing Group Data & Analytics Office. As the Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of how data is used across this FS organisation. You will provide Data Strategy, Data Management, and Analytics capabilities. This person will play a critical leadership role, bringing best practices in data architecture and emerging data technology trends to support the execution of the Data Transformation roadmap.
The expectations:
* Accountable for the delivery of the Enterprise Data Architecture and directing detailed Data Architecture for major transformation programmes.
* Key contributor to the data architecture target state, including maintaining key architectural viewpoints (Data Management, Analytics/AI, MI/BI, and Decisioning).
* Work with the Head of Data Strategy to map enabling Data Capabilities to the enterprise data architecture.
* Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement for architectural principles, designs, and patterns.
* Upskill key stakeholders on data literacy, data architecture, and data commercialization.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment to end-to-end domain architecture, integrating into existing architecture design authority/boards where appropriate.
* Build strong business relationships with stakeholders to understand their challenges and champion data architecture solutions that democratize data.
* Chair a significant internal Data group.
The Person:
* Excellent understanding of data design and enterprise-wide data architecture.
* Experience designing data architectures for complex data integration and transformation programs.
* Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, trends, and standards, e.g., TOGAF and ArchiMate.
* Proven leadership in managing a Data Architecture team on multi-vendor programs and matrix-led engagements.
* Deep knowledge of Data technology, including Azure Databricks, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, data pipelines, data security, MDM, data cataloging, ML/AI, and Analytics.
* Understanding of data & digital innovation trends, such as architectures supporting GenAI and Customer Next Best Action/Personalization.
