Our client is seeking a Quality Manager for a long-term, full-time contract position, based in the Huddersfield region. This role is integral to a large rail infrastructure project, with hybrid work options available and falls inside IR35 regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and overseeing quality assurance frameworks for the project
* Defining operating protocols to ensure consistent quality execution
* Running root cause analysis workshops to identify and solve quality issues
* Managing non-conformance close-outs efficiently
* Scheduling and conducting audits and site surveillance activities
* Leading a team to ensure quality standards are met and maintained
* Collaborating with other project stakeholders to uphold quality requirements
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant quality and safety regulations
Job Requirements
* Experience in quality management, particularly within the rail or civil construction sectors
* Strong skills in quality engineering and assurance
* Previous experience leading a quality management team
* Ability to develop and implement effective quality assurance frameworks
* Proficiency in conducting root cause analysis and non-conformance management
* Understanding of audit processes and site surveillance practices
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Experience with large infrastructure projects is preferred
