Meraki Talent are working alongside one of London's fastest growing and exciting accountancy firms on the role of Audit Quality Manager.
They are seeking an experienced and skilled Audit Quality Manager to join the team due to the growth of the firm and the ever-changing regulatory requirements within Audit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of audit engagements and maintaining compliance with professional standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines related to audit quality and ISQM1.
* Conduct quality control reviews of audit engagements to ensure compliance with professional standards and firm policies.
* Identify areas for improvement in audit processes and provide recommendations for enhancements.
* Collaborate with engagement teams to provide guidance on complex accounting and auditing issues.
* Stay up to date with changes in professional standards and regulations and ensure firm-wide compliance.
* Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of audit staff.
* Prepare and present audit quality reports to senior management.
* Represent the firm in discussions with regulators and professional bodies on audit quality matters.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in audit and operating at Assistant Manager or Manager grade.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards and regulations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to analyze complex information and develop effective solutions.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
* CA, or other relevant professional certification is a plus.
