A well-established, UK-based organisation is seeking a Data Quality Manager to take ownership of data quality standards across a multi-entity business.
As data becomes increasingly central to decision-making, compliance, system integration and AI-readiness, this role plays a critical part in ensuring data is accurate, consistent and trusted across the organisation.
The Role
Reporting into the IT function, you will act as the subject matter expert for data quality-leading initiatives that improve how data is defined, governed, measured and used. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the business, influencing rather than managing, and embedding a culture where data quality is a shared responsibility.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading and delivering data quality initiatives aligned to enterprise standards
2. Assessing current data quality maturity and creating clear roadmaps for improvement
3. Designing and implementing data quality frameworks and metrics
4. Conducting data quality audits and driving continuous improvement
5. Developing data dictionaries, documentation and reporting for stakeholders
6. Championing best practice in data governance, AI-readiness and compliance
7. Supporting secure and compliant data usage in line with cyber and data protection standards
About You
You'll be a confident and credible data professional who can engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key experience includes:
8. Data quality, data governance or data management roles
9. Defining and enforcing data standards, policies and quality metrics
10. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
11. Translating technical data concepts into practical business value
12. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform and SQL
13. A curious, forward-thinking mindset with interest in AI, automation and digital innovation
