What future Site Manager roles might involve:
As a Site Manager in our Rail division, you’ll work closely with Contracts Managers to coordinate and deliver vegetation management and structural clearance works. You’ll play a vital role in safety, compliance, and the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects.
Typical responsibilities may include:
* Coordinating multiple sites and supporting field teams with on-site and admin tasks
* Using Word and Excel to produce documentation (task briefs, trackers, audit logs)
* Planning access schedules and resourcing for planned works
* Conducting site audits, inspections, and maintaining safety compliance
* Supporting accurate scoping, pricing, and reporting for works
* Liaising with clients and internal teams to keep projects moving
What we’ll be looking for:
* Proven experience in Rail, with valid PTS and COSS certifications
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* A confident self-starter with a focus on safety and compliance
* Ability to work collaboratively across site and office teams
Bonus points if you have:
* SMSTS / IOSH / NEBOSH
* First Aid at Work
* FWC certification
* Knowledge of arboriculture or vegetation management (or interest in learning!)
