Job Description
Our client, a contractor, has an immediate requirement for a Facades Site Manager on a large residential project. The role is ideal for those with proven rainscreen cladding management experience seeking a role with great prospects. Candidates applying should have direct knowledge of cladding from a trade/fixer background to management. Successful candidates must have a CSCS card, SSSTS/SMSTS, and first aid certification, as well as previous experience in a similar role for a recognised contractor.
Your role will include overseeing and managing labour, quality, and programme. You must be personable, professional, and able to communicate effectively at all levels. A good working knowledge of basic IT applications, especially Word and Outlook, is essential.
Candidates must be able to communicate at different levels, from managing and pushing sub-contractors to liaising with management. They should have a background to understand construction techniques, check quality, and be driven enough to ensure works progress smoothly. The ability to think on your feet and take a common-sense approach around site is essential.
Essential requirements for the role:
* Proven experience working in a similar role
* CSCS Card
* Ideally SMSTS and first aid certification
* Site construction experience
* Attention to detail
* Proficiency in IT applications such as Word and Outlook
* Clear verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to carry out administrative tasks with little supervision
