Equans is looking for a HR Administrator to join our team in based in Quorum Business Park on a temporary (12 months) basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You'll be based at our brand new, super modern Shared Services office in Newcastle, which is a dynamic multifunctional operation, where our people are committed to delivering great services that enable our business to meet its goals.

What will you deliver?
* Ensure all pre employment checks such as Right to Work (UK), Disclosure checks, Safeguarding, British Standard Security Vetting, Post Offer Health Assessments, Salary and Director Checks are carried out in line with current legislation.
* Support managers during their employee’s probation process.
* Provide analysis on employees personal files, sharing with Head of Privacy as required if subject access requests arise.
* Co-ordinate audit activity for own work area, with timely monthly sign off.
* Provide personal data in line with Equans standards and GDPR guidelines to HR and Data Privacy teams.
* Deal with queries from employees, managers and HR on all HR Administrative processes and procedures.
* Manage own workload in line with service level targets.
* Support the maintenance of process documentation.
* Support the delivery of administrative duties as and when required for the Employee Services function.
* Identify and support process improvements to deliver best practice in HR Administration.
* Deliver excellent customer service and provide a welcoming, efficient, helpful and informative service to all.
* Take a role in the development and delivery of roadshows and customer meetings to promote the service and knowledge share.

Who are we looking for?
* Administrative experience - Essential.
* HR & Payroll systems – Desirable.
* Understanding of HR Administration compliance regulations and procedures – Desirable.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
* Knowledge of current GDPR.
* Customer Services.
* Attention to detail.
* SAP experience - desirable.
* Ability to prioritise and work with colleagues to deadlines.
This role includes a Basic DBS check therefore ability to pass is essential.
