About the Role
Aramark is seeking a passionate and experienced Catering Manager to lead our catering operations at a site in Taunton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of a well-established site, delivering high-quality food and service in a professional environment.
As Catering Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the catering service, managing a dedicated team, and ensuring exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the catering team to deliver excellent service
* Oversee food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations
* Manage stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Monitor budgets and control costs effectively
* Drive continuous improvement and innovation in menu offerings
* Build strong relationships with clients and customers
* Train, develop, and support team members to reach their potential
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in a catering management or supervisory role
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* Knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
* Ability to manage budgets and deliver cost-effective solutions
* Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high standards
* Flexible and adaptable to meet operational needs
