We are actively seeking Employment Lawyers with the following credentials:
* 5+ years of experience as a qualified employment lawyer in a top-tier UK law firm and/or in-house legal department of a multinational organisation.
* Qualified to practice as a UK solicitor or equivalent jurisdiction.
* Law degree from a Russell Group university or other bachelor with a law conversion course.
* Demonstrated experience advising on employment law matters, including but not limited to: managing cross-border employment issues, advising on workplace investigations and compliance, employee relations and disputes, redundancies, restructurings, and TUPE.
* Substantive experience drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and handbooks.
* Supporting M&A transactions from an employment law perspective.
* Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.
Support our corporate clients on the following:
* Advise on all aspects of employment law.
* Draft, review, and update employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
* Support HR and business leaders on employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
* Manage employment litigation and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
* Advise on the employment aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence and integration.
* Monitor and interpret changes in employment legislation across relevant EMEA jurisdictions.
* Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders on employment law compliance.
* Support dynamic project work, which may vary in length and location (remote or hybrid).
* Hybrid or remote schedule depending on the client needs.
* Compensation commensurate with experience and complexity of engagement.
* Engagement support and coaching.
