Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and equipment.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, plumbing, and HVAC.
* Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for repair projects.
* Conduct welding tasks as required for structural repairs or modifications.
* Maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal operation of machinery.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and requests promptly.
* Supervise other maintenance staff or contractors when necessary, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Maintain an organised inventory of tools and materials needed for repairs.
Skills
* Proficient in electrical systems with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairs.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform various maintenance tasks.
* Experience with welding techniques for metal repairs or fabrication.
* Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
* Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively.
* Previous supervising experience is desirable for overseeing maintenance projects.
* Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
