Food Technologist - Part Time

They are looking to add to their Technical team with a Technologist that can work closely with various teams including NPD, QA, and Commercial to provide technical guidance and support with things such as specifications, labelling and audits.
This is an office-based role working 22 hours a week - the company has a flexible approach to this, for example these can be worked over 3 full days or 5 short days.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and deliver accurate product specifications to meet customer, regulatory & internal requirements
Act as a technical point of contact for customers and external bodies, maintaining clear communication and representing the business on technical matters
Maintain compliance with relevant legislation, standards and certifications, including support for audits, quality systems, and organic/kosher accreditation
Ensure product information, labelling and artwork are technically correct, customer‑approved and aligned with brand and policy expectations
Provide cross‑functional technical support across QA, Production, NPD and supplier approval activities to ensure products consistently meet specifications
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in a Technical or NPD role in Food Manufacturing
Some understanding of specifications, artwork and labelling - further training available
Excellent organisational and data management skills
Strong written and spoken English skills
