Managing an SEO executive and reporting into the SEO Lead, with support from external partners (Botify, Pi-datametrics), you will be responsible for managing the website and increasing organic traffic and revenue by way of information architecture improvements, content management, and SEO techniques. You will be data-driven and performance minded, ensuring projects are prioritised accordingly and optimised to meet KPIs.Key Responsibilities:SEO performance – owning, driving and optimising performance on Sports DirectDelivering the SEO strategy- Work with the SEO Lead to develop the sites SEO roadmap and strategyCarry out keyword research and manage site technical issues to support SEO roadmapTeam management – line management of SEO ExecutivesReporting and KPIs – monitor and improve the sites KPIs and revenue targets Insight and opportunity analysis – highlight opportunities and developments across the channelPR Campaigns - work with the SEO Lead to delivery SEO link building campaigns Best practice – stay abreast of and contribute to wider industry developmentsShare initiatives, best practices and results.QualificationsSkills and Experience Required:Hands-on experience in an SEO-focused roleStrong focus on the technical aspects of SEOWorking knowledge of link building using various techniquesExperience owning SEO responsibilities at a site that derives its revenue through consumer trafficExperience with keyword research and strategy, daily optimization, test plan construction, and in-depth analysisExperienced in creating and presenting campaign reports including ROI and conversion ratesStrong understanding of web usability and site design.
