Job Titel: HR Administrator
Location: Colchester
Salary: from £24,000 (dependent on experience)
Job type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
We're recruiting and love to hear from you if you have experience in HR, training, and general administration. You'll preferably have at least CIPD Level 3 (or equivalent).
Key Responsibilities
* Establish position and advertising job description, roles and responsibilities
* Filter candidates and arrange interviews
* Create staff handbook, and contracts of employment ensuring 100% accuracy
* Check Right to Work and DBS documentation prior to contract being issued
* To apply and obtain satisfactory references and chase through as and when required
* To research candidate history online for due diligence purposes through Google
* Ensure the recruitment is fully compliant prior to the candidate commencing employment
* Raise any potential risks regarding recruitment to the Manager as soon as they arise
* Be able to discuss your case-load with your Manager at any given time
* To update and maintain recruitment spreadsheets to monitor recruitment progress
* Support the process of on-boarding and of-boarding of candidates
* Provide support across the employee lifecycle, being the first point of contact for queries and administration
* Be able to travel and work at different locations
* Organize employee team-building activities
Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources role (recruiting role preferred)
3. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
6. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
