Position
Deputy Catering Manager based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
To manage and develop a high‑quality, comprehensive catering service to meet the needs of patients, staff and visitors for inpatient sites across East locality, reporting to the sector catering manager. You will provide a nutritious, cost‑effective service which demonstrates value for money in support of direct patient care and maximises income in retail.
Qualifications, Training and Experience Required
* Degree level in catering management and/or equivalent experience
* City & Guilds 706/2 or equivalent trade qualification
* Advanced Food Hygiene Diploma
* Significant years of experience in senior supervisory/managerial level of high‑volume catering operations, preferable within the NHS
* Implementing food safety controls and undertaking risk assessments
* Knowledge of high‑value budgetary management
Hours
37 hours per week
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
