Job Title: Technical Sales Executive – UK South Location: Leicester / London or UK South / Anywhere else in the UK Role: Full-time, permanent (Office based or remote based on candidate preference) The Job: ETAP/IGE-XAO has an opportunity for a Sales Engineer. IGE-XAO is a software publisher designing, producing, selling, and supporting a wide range of Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. From electrical schematics to complex 3D manufacturing solutions, our technology, software, and services improve the way our customers design and maintain their electrical installations. Help us deliver our long-term vision and build the new electrical world. Key Responsibilities: Promote and grow a range of CAD Software products & services under the direction of the Country Sales Manager. Educate customers on offer and application advantages and how they meet customer's needs. Address and service the needs of targeted and established accounts. Identify and contact potential customers or prospects, either existing or new. Develop the customer base by visiting new and potential customers. Cultivate good customer relationships via regular check-ins and on-site visits. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through increased availability/access, timely communication, placing accurate orders, tracking and expediting orders, and following up on accounts. Perform product technical demonstrations, answering customer initial questions and needs. Achieve sales goals. Essential Requirements: Electrical controls experience. 2-5 years software sales experience. Results-driven and self-motivated. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Strong presentation skills, both written and spoken. Ability to work within a sales team structure by sharing best practices and learning from others. Desired Skills: Ability to thrive in a team environment and actively seek teamwork. Exposure or experience with CAD software / Electrical CAD is a plus. Strategic account sales experience is a plus. ETAP requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
