Overview:
We’re working on a Senior Employment Lawyer opportunity within a high-performing EMEA legal team supporting a global, fast-paced financial services business. This is a broad and hands-on role, partnering closely with HR and senior stakeholders across the region on a wide range of employment law matters.
Key areas include:
* Drafting and negotiating employment contracts and settlement agreements
* Advising on disciplinary, grievance, discrimination, TUPE, and restrictive covenant matters
* Supporting HR and Employee Relations teams with day-to-day legal queries
* Assisting with employment litigation and dispute resolution
* Managing cross-border employment matters across multiple jurisdictions
* Working with external counsel where required
* Delivering training to HR and internal stakeholders
* Building strong relationships across the business at all levels
Requirements:
* Qualified solicitor (England & Wales or equivalent)
* Strong background in employment law (private practice and/or in-house)
* Experience in a commercial, fast-paced environment
* Confident advising senior stakeholders
* Strong drafting, communication, and analytical skills
* Commercially minded, pragmatic, and solutions-focused approach
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
