We are seeking a Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our team to maximise sales revenue and profitability of our Conference and Events Facilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales driven professional who will relish the challenge of playing a key role in this outstanding venue.
The successful candidate in this role will;
* Proactively represent Newbury Racecourse Conference & Events business to existing and potential clients
* Proactively generate new leads to build and enhance the existing customer portfolio
* Prepare detailed and accurate proposals
* Produce contract documents in a timely manner
* Manage the events diary and ensure the booking system is updated in real time to allow for accurate sales forecasting
* Answer incoming enquiries via phone and email ensuring excellent customer service standards
* Assist in building and enhancing long term client relationships, increasing client retention and referrals and building new business
* Attend client appointments, exhibitions and events
You will be able to demonstrate:
* Exceptional communication skills combined with a flair for customer interaction
* Motivation and enthusiasm, for both the position and the Racecourse
* Excellent organisational and administrative skills with an eye for details
