We are looking for a dedicated Cleaner and Site Manager to run our guest accommodation site in Shropshire (outside Ludlow SY8). Please apply to explaining why you are a good fit for this role and when you are available to start.
The role:
* This is a freelance role paid hourly, we can guarantee you 15 hours' work per week but here should be a minimum of 20 hours available to you.
* Clean up to 4 cabins each changeover day, 3 days per week
* You must be available on changeover days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with one Sunday per month between 10.30am - 4pm
* Please note, this is a rural location, an off-road UTV will be provided to access the cabins, you must be comfortable driving off road
Responsibilities include:
* Monitor bookings through our bookings software
* Ensure cabins are always cleaned within the expected timeframe to a high standard
* Ensure guests have enough logs, kindling, firelighters and matches for their stay
* Manage laundry collections and deliveries
* Monthly stocktake of inventory
* Receive and unpack deliveries
We expect you to:
* Hire, train and manage freelance cleaners needed to support you. Arrange cover for your days off and holidays to ensure changeovers are always covered
* Support with ad hoc requests from our ops team, and facilitate maintenance workers coming to site
* Take responsibility for on site issues that crop up during changeover windows, troubleshooting autonomously as much as possible. Or flagging issues that can't be dealt with on site to head office
* Work collaboratively with our head office team to continuously improve the site operations and offer an exceptional experience to guests
* Be our representative on the ground, working autonomously and with responsibility for the day to day running of the site, problem solving and taking ownership of the guest experience

* Gas bottle changes
* Wood delivery and distributing to cabin log sheds
* Out of hours call outs for guest issues
* Maintenance - general or trade specific depending on skillset, we require - general handyman, plumber & electrician
