Temporary Site Manager - School Premises
Location: Birmingham
Contract Type: Temporary (30th June - Early September, including handover)
Working Hours: Split shift during term time; summer holiday hours to be confirmed
Morning: 7:00am - 9:30am & Afternoon: 3:00pm - 6:00pm
We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Site Manager to support the day-to-day running of our school premises over the summer period. This role is essential to maintaining the security, safety, and smooth operation of the school while we recruit for a permanent position.
Responsibilities:
* Opening and securing the school site each day
* Conducting regular site checks to ensure health and safety standards are met
* Performing minor maintenance and repair tasks
* Ensuring the site remains clean, safe, and operational
* Coordinating with contractors and external service providers as required
* Responding to urgent site issues and supporting school staff as necessary
Person Specification:
* Significant experience working in a school environment is essential
* Sound knowledge of building/site security, health and safety procedures, and general maintenance
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* An enhanced DBS check is required (or willingness to obtain one)
