What you’ll do day to day
* Welcome and engage customers professionally, keeping them informed throughout their vehicle’s repair
* Schedule workshop appointments, confirm bookings, and maintain accurate customer records
* Promote additional services based on technician recommendations
* Manage secure movement of retail vehicles and maintain precise records
* Prepare vehicles to brand and customer standards before delivery
* Accept and check deliveries of new and used vehicles, reporting issues promptly
* Complete timely appraisals of vehicles taken into stock and arrange required work
* Direct and prioritise tasks for Workshop Controller and Valentes.
* Maintain showroom, demonstrators, and used car stock to required standards, including weekly checks
* Ensure approved used cars are prepared within five working days and maintain photographic standards above 90%
* Conduct pre‑appointment customer calls to confirm bookings, ensure readiness, and address any preliminary questions
* Keep auction vehicles ready for collection with all paperwork completed

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally and build trust
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities for scheduling and prioritising tasks
* Attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping and vehicle checks
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
* Problem‑solving skills to address discrepancies and ensure smooth operations
* Previous experience in a customer‑facing or automotive environment is desirable
* Competence in using dealership or service management systems for bookings and records
* A valid UK driving licence is essential
