As we continue to grow our portfolio, we’re now looking for a Pre-Sales Technical Executive to play a key role in driving client engagement, supporting the sales cycle, and articulating the value of our cybersecurity offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to combine technical understanding of security services with your ability to communicate solutions to clients, helping them make informed decisions while strengthening Phoenix’s commercial and reputational position in the market. What You’ll Be Doing Supporting the full pre-sales cycle for Managed Security Services, working closely with account managers and business development teams. Acting as the technical point of contact in customer conversations, explaining our security services, tools, and solutions in a clear and compelling way. Preparing and delivering technical demos, presentations, and proposal documents that align with client needs. Working with the service delivery team to understand operational processes and reflect these accurately in client engagements. Collaborating across departments to keep our CRM and sales pipeline updated with technical insights and opportunity status. Staying up to date with the latest trends in cybersecurity, managed services, and the threat landscape, with a focus on their impact on our client sectors. Contributing to the development of service documentation, technical content, and enablement materials for internal and external use. Supporting internal sales enablement sessions, helping colleagues understand and position technical offerings effectively. Why you should apply? What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who thrives in the space between technical delivery and sales, someone who is not only passionate about cybersecurity but also capable of bridging the gap between complex services and customer understanding. We encourage anyone with an interest in this space with the relevant soft skills to apply. Essential Skills & Experience: Experience in a B2B IT solutions or technical pre-sales role (not essential). Some knowledge or a natural interest of managed security services, would be advantageous. Comfortable engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation and communication skills – confident in leading client-facing discussions and demos (both virtual and in-person). Able to build trust quickly and articulate the value of services clearly and concisely. Highly organised, commercially aware, and capable of working autonomously. Strong written communication skills – able to write clear, structured proposals and service descriptions Practical stuff Where is the role based?
