Site Manager
Location: Surrey
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Site Manager (EV New Connections)
The Site Manager will oversee the daily operations of Electric Vehicle Infrastructure projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and to safety and quality standards. The role involves managing subcontractors, vendors, and site workers while maintaining compliance with regulations and project specifications. You will need strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to spec.
2. Coordinate with internal teams and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
3. Enforce health & safety standards, conduct inspections, and lead toolbox talks.
4. Maintain quality, resolve issues, and manage resources efficiently.
5. Oversee procurement and inventory, and ensure accurate site documentation.
6. Report progress to senior stakeholders and resolve on-site conflicts proactively
Essential Requirements:
7. Experience in site supervision, ideally within the EV/on-street sector.
8. Proven track record on large, multi-site projects.
9. Strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
10. Proficient with project management tools and MS Office.
11. Solid construction knowledge and relevant certifications (SMSTS, CSCS).
12. Full UK driving licence required.
This role involves travel to construction sites, in and around the Guildford/Surrey area.
