About the Role

Location: West Mids

Additional Locations:

* West Mids SARC's
* Remote

Working pattern:

Home‑based with frequent travel across the Midlands and occasional national travel. Some exposure to sensitive information. This is a full time role. Hybrid working 2 days minimum per week onsite.

Salary: £40,000 to £43,000 based on experience.

Governance & Quality Manager – Midlands

We’re recruiting an experienced Governance & Quality Manager to lead our regional governance agenda, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep services inspection‑ready at all times. This is the perfect opportunity for a compassionate person to join a growing, innovative and market-leading service provider within Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARC).

The role of SOE is critical in providing victims of sexual assault with the dedicated support and care required. We're looking for caring and compassionate RN’s, Midwifes, RMN’s or Paramedics to join us as Sexual Offence Examiner to provide holistic care and support to victims of sexual assault.

As a Sexual Offence Examiner, you'll receive full training and support to become a qualified Forensic Practitioner, with further opportunities to undertake additional higher education after one year in-post.



Job Opportunity

In this role, you’ll:

* Lead and strengthen the regional Quality & Governance Framework
* Ensure compliance with CQC, NHSE Quality Standards, ISO15189, and Forensic Science Regulator Codes
* Oversee internal audits, inspections, incident management and risk processes
* Drive continuous improvement using audit, incident and KPI data
* Support patient safety initiatives and uphold information governance requirements
* Provide expert governance leadership, advice and training to operational teams



Essential Skills

About you:

* You’ll have experience in governance or quality roles within regulated healthcare, with understanding of ISO standards, CQC compliance, audits, incident management and data analysis. You’ll be confident influencing at all levels and skilled at embedding robust governance in complex environments.
* Must have a full Driving License with access to car.
* DBS and Vetting required.
