Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in residential fire protection systems? We're recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor for a Site Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of residential sprinkler installation projects.
You’ll be joining a fast-paced and growing team with a strong pipeline of residential high-rise and social housing projects acrossScotland. This is a key role within the business, suited to someone who thrives in a busy environment and can drive quality and safety standards on-site.
Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations on residential sprinkler installation projects.

Coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, and deliveries to ensure programmes are met.
*
Ensure compliance with relevant fire protection standards and health and safety legislation.
*
Carry out quality checks and sign-offs throughout the installation process.
*
Report progress and issues to the Project Manager/Director and wider management team.
*
Liaise with clients, residents, and site stakeholders in a professional manner.
*
Maintain site documentation, RAMS, permits to work, and daily records.
*
Champion a culture of safety, quality, and accountability across your sites.
The ideal candidate:

Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor in the fire protection or mechanical services sector.
*
Strong knowledge of residential sprinkler systems, ideally to BS 9251 standards.
*
SSSTS or SMSTS qualified (SMSTS preferred).
*
CSCS card (Gold or Black preferred).
*
First Aid at Work certificate.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high standards.
*
Experience managing subcontractor teams and liaising with clients on live residential sites.
