Come and join our growing, Family run Pub Restaurant as a Cook.
We are looking for an enthusiastic cook to grow our Kitchen team. Established 2 years ago we continue to grow, serving quality gastro style fresh food in warm and friendly surroundings. The successful applicant will be a key part of our Kitchen team, preparing dishes, desserts and overall preparation too.
Come and use your kitchen experience with us, widen your skills and knowledge. Opportunities to grow to Chef / Head Chef over time.
We are able to offer accommodation above if required, for which we don't charge.

Duties
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus.
* Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
* Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
* Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
* Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative ideas for new dishes.
* Serve meals to customers as required, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting.
* Strong culinary skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques.
* Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
* A passion for food and cooking, with a desire to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
