Our client, a leading contractor in the water sector, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team in Bournemouth on a long-term contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing daily operations on-site, ensuring all activities are carried out safely and efficiently
* Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site workers
* Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion of tasks
* Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
* Conducting site inspections and quality control checks
* Providing technical guidance and support related to reservoir and pipework projects
* Liaising with project stakeholders, including clients and suppliers
* Maintaining accurate site records and documentation
Job Requirements
* Experience in the water sector, specifically with reservoirs or southern water projects
* Strong understanding of pipework systems
* Proficiency in managing blue-collar workers on-site
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Effective communication and leadership abilities
* Ability to handle project documentation and reporting
* Available to start in 3 weeks
