Background delivering shell & core or structural build packages
Experience managing phased works within live environmentsKey Skills:

Ability to organise and manage project schedules
A solid understanding of relevant regulations and standards
Proven ability to lead, support, and direct a team effectively
In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and building processes

The Opportunity
We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of a major retail construction project in West Yorkshire. The role will involve managing shell-only extension works as part of a multi-phase programme, operating within a live retail environment and coordinating multiple subcontract packages.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all day-to-day site operations and construction activities
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour
Ensure Health & Safety standards are implemented and maintained
Manage site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings
Monitor programme progress and manage short-term lookahead plans
Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and quality standards
Oversee shell & core construction activities and inspections
Liaise with the project team to provide regular progress updates
Manage site logistics, deliveries and access constraints
Maintain accurate site records, permits and compliance documentation
Identify and resolve site issues to maintain programme and quality
Support commissioning and handover activities as required
Carry out any other reasonable duties to support successful project delivery
