An opportunity has arisen for a BANK Chef on a three-week rota cycle within the Catering Department at the Lorn and Islands Hospital, Oban.
We are looking for self-motivated persons to work as part of our existing catering team, assisting in all aspects of food preparation and service related to providing high-quality catering to patients, staff, visitors, and for functions.
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours starting 1 April 2024, with no change in pay. This change will be applied pro-rata for part-time staff. This advert and subsequent employment offers reflect the new hours. Some service areas may require temporary additional hours up to 30 minutes per week until rosters are adjusted.
