Offer description

Responsibilities

* Answer the telephone
* Taking enquiries and orders for processing
* Preparing, responding to and chasing quotes and orders
* Strive to meet KPI's as set by the company
* Assisting end user and wholesaler customers both on the telephone and face to face with quotations, product information and pricing queries
* Handling technical Product enquiries
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing and new customers
* Undertake proactive call outs to dormant account holders and seek potential new accounts
* Generating appointments for external and senior sales team
* Maintenance of sales records and ensuring upkeep
* Engage with marketing and promote monthly offers to customers
* Be able to spot sales opportunities out with script
* Generate necessary reports including sales targets, daily sales figures and KPIs for the directors
* Take ownership of the full sales cycle
* Liaise with all internal departments
* Attending events on behalf of the company

* Responsibility for the health and safety of the company
* Ensure all health & safety guidelines are followed and accidents/risks etc are recorded accurately in line with health & safety legislation
* Be familiar with, and follow the company's Health & Safety policies and procedures at all time

Working Relationships

* Ability to form relationships quickly with all employees and stakeholders
* Ensure strong professional relationship with all customers and suppliers

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential Skills

* Proficient with CRM systems essential – hubspot preferred
* Experience with ERP systems preferred
* Excellent organisation skills
* Previous experience in electrical, F&S sales or wholesale
* Ability to deal with customers in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations as they arise
* Demonstrate a hands-on approach
* Be a strong key player and be adaptable
* Have a keen eye for detail
* Always ensure excellent customer service and display a 'can do attitude'
* Excellent verbal and communication skills
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to remain calm under pressure
* Be self-led and self-motivated
* GDPR Compliance awareness
* Call centre/outbound telesales experience considered

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
