Healthcare Project | Immediate Start | 12-Month Contract

Rate: £350-£400/day CIS
Duration: 12 Months+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 6:00pm (12-hour shifts)
Sphere Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Site Manager to join a major healthcare construction project on a long-term freelance basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile healthcare development, managing key civils and infrastructure packages from commencement through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations across civil engineering and infrastructure works.
- Manage subcontractors, direct labour and plant resources.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to specification.
- Coordinate drainage, utilities, roads, external works and associated infrastructure packages.
- Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks and health & safety audits.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and design teams.
- Manage quality control, programme updates and site reporting.
- Drive productivity whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on major civil engineering, infrastructure or healthcare projects.
- Strong background in groundworks, drainage, utilities, highways or external works.
- SMSTS
- Black CSCS Card
- First Aid at Work
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 6 Site Management or equivalent.
- Experience working on hospital or healthcare developments.
- Temporary Works knowledge.
- Utilities or infrastructure project experience.
