The Role

* Designing and owning the enterprise data model that supports reporting, analytics, and operational data use cases
* Architecting data lake / lakehouse structures and defining how data is organised across the platform
* Designing feature stores and reporting layers that enable advanced analytics and insight generation
* Establishing best practices for data modelling, governance, and data quality
* Working closely with data engineers to ensure pipelines feed the data architecture effectively
* Defining scalable data structures that can support significant growth in data volume and complexity
* Acting as the technical authority for data architecture within the organisation
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Data Architect or senior data professional who enjoys designing robust data structures and shaping how organisations leverage data.
Experience likely to include:
* Strong experience in data modelling and data architecture design
* Experience designing data lakes, lakehouses, or modern data platforms
* Expertise in SQL and relational database design
* Understanding of ETL pipelines and data engineering workflows
* Experience structuring data for reporting, analytics, and large‑scale data environments
* Ability to work across teams to define and implement data architecture standards
