Job Purpose:

This is an entry-level, sales-focused role based in Cardiff and the surrounding area, designed for someone who wants to build a successful career in B2B sales.

You’ll be speaking to businesses every day, working across a mix of inbound enquiries and outbound activity, building confidence on the phone and learning how to turn conversations into customers. This is a fast-paced, phone-led role where you’ll quickly develop real sales skills and start seeing the results of your work.

With full training, structured coaching, and clear progression, this role offers a genuine pathway into a Business Development position with the opportunity to build your own pipeline, generate new business, and directly contribute to revenue and GP growth.

Main Responsibilities:

12. Engage with inbound enquiries and convert interest into active customers
13. Proactively generate new opportunities through outbound calling and outreach
14. Speak to businesses daily, building confidence and developing sales conversations
15. Manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities using HubSpot
16. Follow up all enquiries and prospects in a timely and professional manner
17. Work towards daily and weekly activity targets (calls, conversations, conversions)
18. Support new customers through onboarding and initial account setup
19. Accurately log all activity and maintain strong CRM discipline
20. Participate in regular coaching and training sessions to develop sales skills
21. Contribute to overall team performance and GP growth

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for individuals who are motivated to build a career in sales. Previous experience is not essential, but the right attitude and behaviours are critical.

22. Strong verbal communication skills, particularly over the phone
23. Confident and comfortable handling a high volume of calls daily
24. Positive, coachable attitude with a willingness to learn
25. Resilience and ability to handle rejection
26. Strong work ethic and self-motivation
27. Good organisational skills and ability to manage tasks and follow-ups
28. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment where performance is measured daily and weekly
29. High level of personal accountability
30. Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales role
31. Experience with outbound calling or lead generation
32. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot)
33. Understanding of B2B environments or professional services
34. Knowledge of DBS or background screening (not essential)
