AB Sports Nutrition is a fast growing sports nutrition business based in Brighton. Our sales are divided between two brands; High5, an energy and rehydration brand and Reflex Nutrition, a strength and recovering brand. Both brands are dedicated to helping individuals enhance their athletic performance and reach their personal fitness goals. AB Sports Nutrition is part of Associated British Foods (ABF) and employs 130 people. We manufacture the majority of our own products based at our purpose built site in Woodingdean, near Brighton.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role (3 days on site, 2 days wfh) for a Human Resources Manager located in Woodingdean. The Human Resources Manager will oversee daily HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance with employment laws. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing HR policies, conducting training and development programs, managing employee benefits, and ensuring a positive workplace culture. The HR Manager will also act as a bridge between employees and management to address workplace issues and support organizational goals.
We're looking for a passionate, positive individual with high energy levels, with flexible working styles as you will be engaging with board members, and senior employees on areas such as team development, together with responsibility for recruitment, induction and training in our Ops team.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
* Proficiency in employee relations and performance management
* Experience of AI and ability to research and develop this area, as we champion the use of AI within our business.
* Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and delivering training programs
* Understanding of employment laws and regulations
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
* Proficiency with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Degree in HR or equivalent, together with CIPD qualification
* Previous relevant experience is essential
