We are recruiting a Part-Time HR Manager for a R&D / Manufacturing start up / scale up business based in Cambridge.
This is a great opportunity to join an early-stage business to develop their HR function. This will ensure they create systems and processes to help them grow a sustainable business for the future.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be instrumental in developing the HR function partnering with the business to develop an engaging culture.
As a standalone role, you will oversee 40 employees, be responsible for the generalist HR function and have the exciting opportunity to contribute to business growth.
Build and evolve the HR function [and eventually team]
Assist management team with recruitment programme as company expands
Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent
Devise HR policies and processes
Maintain HR records using the HRIS
Devise and deliver learning events to support business performance
Provide strategic and tactical HR support aligned with the business initiatives
You will be an experienced HR professional who has established HR skills in developing HR processes and systems ideally from a technical environment in a start up / scale up.
Be able to operate in a stand alone capacity
