HR Officer - Antrim - Manufacturing MCS group are delighted to be working exclusively with an industry leading manufacturing company, currently recruiting for an HR Officer to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong HR Assistant looking to take the next step in their career, or an experienced HR Officer seeking a new role in a fast-paced environment. The role As HR Officer you will support a broad range of HR functions in line with departmental KPIs and the company's commitment to excellence. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will assist with policy implementation, employee relations, recruitment, and key HR projects. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and up-to-date knowledge of NI employment law to provide effective support to managers on complex employee matters. The main responsibilities Regularly review and update company policies to meet legal, audit, and business requirements, incorporating changes into the employee handbook as needed. Keep up to date with employment law by attending seminars, reviewing legal updates, and consulting with external bodies. Maintain accurate employee records on the HRIS, ensuring contracts and job descriptions are current. Oversee recruitment processes end to end, including coordination with external agencies. Advise managers on employee relations and HR procedures, including absence, performance, disciplinary, grievance, wellbeing, and engagement matters. Prepare statutory reports, including the Equality Commission and Article 55 submissions. Support health and safety compliance, including coordinating health surveillance. Assist in maintaining Investors in People Platinum accreditation. Provide general HR admin support, including assistance with payroll tasks. Offer flexible support to the HR Manager as required. The ideal candidate Experience in a HR generalist role within a similar industry. Experience covering all HR functions, including ER and Recruitment. Proficient PAMS or a similar HRIS, and Microsoft or Google suite. CIPD qualification, or working towards. 3rd level degree in HR Management or relevant area. What's on offer?
