Inside Sales Executive Overview

As an Inside Sales Executive, you will play a key role in generating new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and supporting the wider sales function. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, customer‑focused individual with experience in logistics or freight forwarding who is looking to build their career within a dynamic and fast‑growing organisation.


Inside Sales Executive Key Responsibilities

* Proactively generate new leads through outbound calls, email campaigns, and targeted prospecting
* Qualify opportunities and book appointments for the external sales team
* Prepare quotations, rate proposals, and service information tailored to customer requirements
* Follow up on all sales enquiries to maximise conversion rates
* Maintain regular communication with existing customers to strengthen relationships and identify upsell opportunities
* Support the sales team with market research, pipeline updates, and CRM administration
* Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
* Achieve monthly KPIs and contribute to overall revenue growth


Inside Sales Executive Skills & Experience Required

* Previous experience in inside sales, telesales, or customer‑facing commercial roles
* Background in freight forwarding and logistics
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Confident, proactive, and target‑driven approach
* Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
