Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation, and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - To provide a comprehensive professional secretarial and support service to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor & Executive Dean (PVC & ED) for Global Partnerships. The post holder will assist with the co-ordination of clerical activities associated with the business of the PVC & ED and take responsibility for the development and maintenance of effective systems, processes, and procedures. Additionally, the post holder will contribute to projects and organise/co-ordinate events and activities within the Office for Global Engagement. - ABOUT YOU - - A good standard of numeracy and literacy, either by qualification (GCSE English and Maths at Grace C or equivalent) or evidenced by work-related activities. - Experience in a personal administrative capacity in support of a senior manager, including working with sensitive and confidential material. - Experience of drafting routine correspondence, papers, reports and spreadsheets, and the preparation and formatting of documents, extracting and manipulating data and information across different desktop and IT office applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), ensuring an integrated approach.
