HR Assistant / OfficerAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant/Officer to join a well-established organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.This role will support the HR team across all aspects of the employee lifecycle, with a focus on recruitment, retention, employee experience, and employer branding. The organisation employs approximately 300 staff.This is a multi-site position, requiring travel between several locations. Access to a personal vehicle is essential.The Role:Assisting with recruitment and selection activities, including creating job descriptions, advertising roles, managing applications, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and collecting monitoring information for compliance purposesCoordinating onboarding processes, including issuing employment offers, conducting inductions, completing right-to-work checks, and maintaining personnel recordsEnsuring all new starters complete relevant health & safety inductions and training, and issuing uniforms/equipment where requiredSupporting health and wellbeing initiatives, including organising and promoting internal eventsEngaging with educational institutions and attending careers events to support employer branding and talent attractionImplementing company policies and procedures, ensuring employees are informed and that documentation such as the employee handbook is kept up to dateMonitoring attendance and timekeeping, taking appropriate action where necessaryProviding HR support and guidance to line managers on employee-related mattersThe Person:Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate recordsExcellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levelsA proactive and creative approach, with the ability to contribute new ideasEssential Criteria:Previous experience in a similar HR roleCIPD qualified or currently working towards qualificationProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsAdditional Information:Job Type: Full-time, PermanentWork Location: On-site (multi-location)WHJS1_NI
