A redevelopment construction project based on the beautiful island of Anglesey is looking to add to their team by bringing on board an experienced site manager to co-ordinate and manage the running of their site Working Closely with Building Control & Structural Warranty providers.
Key duties include:
1. Organisation and positioning of site set up, office & welfare set ups, construction roads and paths and muster points etc.
2. Capable of “setting out” straightforward buildings and external works (not steel frame etc.)
3. Preparation of Construction and monthly look ahead programmes
4. Attendance at monthly meetings on site to explain programme status and any movements
5. Understanding of when to “call off” materials and giving adequate notice to Subcontractors for date required on site
6. Preparation of Construction Health & Safety Plans
7. Run the site to a high level of Health & Safety
8. Ensure any new operatives working on site are fully inducted
9. Keeping accurate daily records including Daily Returns Operatives on site, Material deliveries and visitors to site
A successful candidate for this role will ideally have the following:
10. Previous experience in a similar role ideally within a Heritage/Conservation background
11. Site Management Certificate - SMSTS
12. CSCS Management Card
13. First Aid Certificate
14. Computer literacy with Word, Excel and Project
15. Have an understanding of Subcontractors RAMs Excellent practical subcontract management
16. Excellent knowledge of Groundworks & Drainage
17. Knowledge, Control and Management of incoming site services – Electric/Gas/Water/BT
This is a temporary job with an ASAP start offering a competitive salary in Circa of £25.00 per hour based on a 40-hour week, based on site in Anglesey.
