Elevation Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading manufacturer of high-precision aerospace and industrial gas turbine components to recruit an experienced Quality Manager for their Leicester facility.
As the site’s senior quality leader, you will:
* Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team, fostering accountability and collaboration
* Implement and maintain the QMS in line with AS9100, AS13100, and NADCAP standards
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Zero Defects programs
* Conduct root cause analysis and manage corrective actions using 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone methodologies
* Oversee internal and external audits, resolving non-conformances
* Act as the primary point of contact for customer quality inquiries and audits
* Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to improve processes and supplier quality
What we’re looking for:
* Extensive experience in engineering or quality within aerospace or heavy manufacturing
* Proven ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications
* Demonstrated leadership managing and developing high-performing teams
* Six Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt qualification
* Excellent communication and influencing skills
* Degree, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering discipline
