HR Administrator – Temporary (8 Weeks)
Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Hours: 37.5 per week (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm)
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum equivalent
We’re looking for an experienced HR Administrator to join our friendly HR team for an 8‑week temporary assignment. You’ll support the Head of HR and HR Manager across a wide range of HR tasks. This role is mainly office‑based, with some flexibility on start/finish times.
What you’ll do
1. Be the first point of contact for HR queries
2. Manage the HR inbox and help employees and managers
3. Update HR records and systems (SMB)
4. Support recruitment admin (contracts, onboarding, induction)
5. Run exit interviews and maintain reports
6. Carry out pre‑employment checks
7. Produce weekly/monthly HR and recruitment stats
8. Support the HR Manager with ER casework
9. Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings as the HR rep
What we’re looking for
10. Strong HR Administration experience
11. Good attention to detail
12. Clear written and spoken English
13. Understanding of UK employment practice
14. Confident with MS Office (Excel and Word)
15. Comfortable using HR systems (training provided if needed)
16. Proactive, organised and able to take ownership
