Purpose of the job
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salesforce Multi-Cloud Lead Technical Developer to join our growing team. This role will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds—including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM Core, and, ideally, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Loyalty Management. You will also be responsible for leading and performance managing other developers.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead the architecture and hands-on development of scalable Salesforce solutions across multiple Salesforce clouds.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs.
· Guide the development team, provide technical direction, and conduct code reviews.
· Performance manage and mentor Salesforce developers.
· Develop custom applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
· Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware solutions.
· Ensure compliance with Salesforce security best practices, enterprise architecture, and data governance.
· Support CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment processes.
· Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and industry trends.
Knowledge, Skills, and experience required
· 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with multi-cloud exposure (Sales, Service, CRM Core).
· 3+ years performance managing salesforce developers
· Experience or familiarity with Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and Loyalty Management is highly desirable.
· Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
· Strong understanding of Salesforce automation tools (Flows, Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Approval Processes).
· Experience with third-party integrations and API design (REST/SOAP).
· Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes (Git, Gearset, Copado, etc.).
· Salesforce Platform Developer I and II certified.
· Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer; Development Lifecycle & Deployment Designer and/ or Platform App Builder certified preferred
· Proven leadership experience in team management and performance management.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams.
