What you'll be doing
* Supporting the design and development of back-end systems using PHP
* Working with MySQL databases and learning to optimise data structures and performance
* Assisting in the development of APIs and learning how to ensure they're scalable and meet client needs
* Collaborating with experienced developers across both back-end and front-end technologies
* Gaining hands-on experience across the full application lifecycle: coding, debugging, testing and beyond
What you'll need
* A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
* A solid understanding of programming principles, ideally with some experience in PHP
* Basic knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases
* A genuine interest in web technologies and back-end development
* Willingness to learn, adapt and ask questions
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Nice to have (but not essential)
* Exposure to frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
* Familiarity with JavaScript or React
* Some understanding of version control systems like GIT
* Awareness of DevOps tools or cloud platforms like AWS
