An exciting new role for the company!
We are looking for an organised and people-oriented candidate who is eager to develop their existing HR experience in a true generalist role within our small, friendly HR team.
The role
1. Provide full administrative support to the HR department to ensure an efficient HR service for all teams across the company.
2. Coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, arranging interviews, and liaising with recruitment agencies to arrange temporary staff as needed.
3. Support the team to ensure an effective onboarding process for all new starters.
4. Maintain absence logs and relevant paperwork to ensure accurate absence data.
5. Provide first-line advice to employees and managers on HR-related queries, requests, policies, and procedures.
What you need
1. Proven experience in an HR administration role within a fast-paced, busy environment.
2. Basic understanding of UK employment law and HR policies.
3. Outstanding organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple demands.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. A willingness to adapt and develop skills and knowledge.
6. Previous experience in the recycling, waste, or comparable plant/manufacturing industries.
7. CIPD qualification or HR certification is desirable but not essential.

The package
1. Starting from £25,350 per annum DOE.
2. 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 7am – 3pm.
3. 28 days annual leave, including bank holidays.
