HR Officer - Immediate start - Belfast
MCS Group is delighted to partner with a growing organisation as they look to add an HR Officer to their team initially on an interim basis. This role offers an immediate start.
The role:
As HR Officer, you will support day-to-day HR operations and act as a key point of contact for managers and employees. This is a true generalist role with exposure to a wide range of HR activities.
The main responsibilities:
* Supporting the full employee lifecycle - onboarding through to offboarding.
* Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
* Assisting with disciplinary, grievance and absence management processes.
* Supporting recruitment activities including coordination and onboarding.
* Maintaining HR systems and ensuring data accuracy.
* Supporting policy updates and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
* Assisting with performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
The ideal candidate:
* Proven experience in a HR Generalist / HR Officer role.
* Strong working knowledge of NI employment law and HR best practice.
* Confident handling employee relations cases at investigation level.
* Strong recruitment background.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
