What you’ll do on a typical day:
Leading employee relations activity, including union engagement, discipline, grievance and performance management
* Leading and supporting organisational change, culture and engagement programmes
* Driving engagement, communication and wellbeing initiatives across the site
* Supporting learning & development activity and delivering on-site training where required
Managing and developing a site HR team (HR, Payroll, Reception and Trainers)
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Proven experience in a similar HR Manager / senior HR generalist role
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations
* Confident influencing senior stakeholders in an operational environment
* Experience of change management and cultural development
A pragmatic, resilient HR professional with the confidence to challenge constructively
