Site Manager
Location: Gateshead office, Site based around North East, Typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week
As Site Managers for Novus, you’ll see the impact and improvements your role delivers to your customers and team every day. This varied and challenging role offers the opportunity to work with and manage a skilled professional trade team in a secure environment with long-term contracts and opportunities for growth and learning.
Utilising your Site Management skills in Social Housing and Planned refurbishment works, you’ll also look for ways to add social value to the communities and customers you serve. You’ll be supported by peers, team, and management to solve problems and trusted to make decisions to develop relationships and revenue.
You will ensure the smooth running of multiple sites, ensuring all personnel carry out their tasks efficiently and effectively to complete contracts on time, with zero defects, within budget, and with no health & safety risks to the team, client, or public.

Responsibilities of a Site Manager
* Manage site teams, work activities, and resources to meet contract requirements
* Manage the selection and formation of site personnel teams, including Sub Contractors
* Collate all preconstruction information (packs, asbestos surveys, etc.)
* Ensure all contract documentation/reports are accurate and timely, in conjunction with the Contracts Manager
* Identify site hazards and implement risk assessments and control measures
* Ensure all sites comply with legal and statutory requirements, including health, safety, and welfare
* Assist in preparing estimates, bids, and tenders with the Contracts Manager
* Create, manage, and report on projects across multiple sites using a master programme
About You
The successful Site Manager will have strong experience in Planned refurbishment Works within Social Housing/tenanted properties, with good knowledge of internal and external refits, managing delivery to completion/handover. You will manage multiple sites, have commercial awareness to meet budget requirements, and excellent communication skills to build relationships with clients and tenants. A Full UK driving licence, SMSTS or NVQ qualification, confidence with IT and MS Office, and a DBS check are required.
